On this podcast, we breakdown all the events and panels we engaged with at last week's WonderCon in Anaheim. We talk about Batman's 80th birthday, exclusive footage of the upcoming X-Men: Dark Pheonix, and at the end of the program we review the indie biopic, Tolkien, which will be released later this May. 

This week we dig deep into the hidden meanings behind Jordan Peele's new horror film Us. We also play a game of "Don't Call it a Comeback," where we give career advice to a few falling movie stars. At the end of the program, we review the 2015 action movie Hardcore Henry for our Netflix Homework.

We also discuss James Gunn's return to Marvel Studios and we survey our listeners to find out the comedy's that makes them laugh every time they watch it.

We also go over our listener's favorite female action movie characters and we profile the types of people who would choose between 4 of Speilberg's most popular films. 

This week we catch up on backed up movie news, including our ideas on the Oscar noms. We also review the Netflix thriller "Velvet Buzzsaw" and we compare the two streaming documentaries about the failed Fyre Festival, "Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened" from Netflix and Hulu's "Fyre Fraud."
