It's a few days before Halloween and we decide to list a few film that are scary, even though they aren't technically horror movies. We also review the new Danny Boyle film "Steve Jobs," written by Aaron Sorkin and starring Michael Fassbender, and in our Netfllix homework we review the Iranian vampire film "Girl Walks Home Alone At Night."

Halloween's on it's way and we can't find a single good horror movie in theaters to review, so instead we bring you reviews of the social awareness movies "Men, Women & Children" and the Sundance hit "Dear White People." However, in our Netflix homework we accidentally review two horror movies in one with Mario Bava's "House of Exorcism." We also discuss Halloween costume ideas and what it's like living in a coastal city when being from Idaho.

 Richard passed his kidney stone and relives the horror for us before we review last week's "Dracula Untold" and this week's war movie "Fury," staring Brad Pitt. We also ask if experimental film has become officially 'uncool,' and at the end of the program, for our Netflix homework, we review 1985 horror-comedy "The Stuff."

 This week we say farewell to the great Robin Williams, with a small tribute to his work. We also discuss classics that have and haven't aged very well, and, of course, we review the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot. At the end of the program we also review Kathryn Bigelow's 1995 cyber-thriller "Strange Days."

 The gloves come off as we definitely disagree to agree on this week's movie, "The Purge: Anarchy." We debate, you decide! Also, we talk a bit about the Shazam casting rumors, nominate our entrees for the Criterion Collection, and for our Netflix homework we review the Calvin and Hobbs documentary "Dear Mr. Watterson."

This week we bring on guest host, comic illustrator Matt Grigsby to review "X:Men: Days of Future Past." We also talk a little bit about lazily designed posters and one-sheets for modern movies and at the end of the episode, for our Netflix homework, we review the crazy-town 1971 Aussie thriller, "Wake in Fright".

Immersed in grad-school hysteria, Cassidy joins Richard in another podcast adventure. In this episode we discuss high school bullies, which TV shows we would like to see as movies and/or  which movies we to see as TV shows, and we review Jonathan Glazer's "Under the Skin". For our netflix homework we also review Orson Welles' 1962 film "The Trial", staring Psycho's Anthony Perkins.
